Has appearing on BMB changed your life in any way? If so, how?

| Jason: |
|
Appearing on the show has somewhat changed my life. First of all, after the show aired I was fired from the military for violating the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy. When that happened, I was sort of thrown into an equal rights spotlight in which I had the audience of a few million people to speak about the unfairness of the "Don't Ask Don't Tell" policy. I receive a few hundred emails each week from gay men and women currently serving in the military, and those that have served in the past, expressing their support during my transition back into the civilian life.

Have you kept in contact with any of the other participants on the show? If so, who?

|
Yes. All of them I will say hi to, and will talk to if I see them around – but the only one that I really keep in touch with is Chris. I think he's one of the most genuine guys that I have ever met, and the most genuine guy from the show. We always have a great time when we hang out, he has become one of my closest friends.

Did you learn anything new about yourself through participating in this show?

I learned that I'm not very photogenic (lol). Everything else I already knew.

Having the opportunity to speak out about Equal Rights for the LGBT community.

What one thing didn't make it into the final show that you wish America could have seen?

| Jason: |
|
When we were told the "twist" and tried to reason with the fact that there were straight guys on the show. Also, that I kept calling James "Michael". I think that would have been quite funny to see, even for me.
